–Observed several containers of food stored directly on the floor in walk-in cooler area, rather than six inches off of the floor as required. Corrected a the time of the inspection by Fagii Mohamad.

–Observed deeply scored cutting boards on the cooks line, not resurfaced or discarded as required.

–Observed door to the outside, located in the kitchen area of the food facility is being propped open. Corrected at the time of the inspection.

–Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration.

–Observed can opener gear and blade, a food contact surface, was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Corrected at the time of the inspection.

–Observed, Employee personal items cell phone were observed in cooks line prep table area, and not stored in dressing rooms or identified storage area as required. Corrected at the time of the inspection.

–Observed two metal strainers that are rusted.

–Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration.

–Chest freezer is leaking on the floor in the kitchen.

–Door gasket is broken on the toppings cooler and needs repaired.

–Observed dried food residue on the underside corners of the milkshake machines.

–Observed dried food residue on the blade of the table mounted can opener.

–Observed three to five dead moth-like insects around the front door and serving window.

–Ice cream mix in the hopper was observed at 46F, rather than 41F or below as required. Hoppers are not refrigerated. Suggested using smaller batches of mix.

–Observed a broken refrigerator in the kitchen not being used. Refrigerator has mold-like substance inside.

–The Person in Charge does not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection.

–Observed food residue inside the chest freezer.

–Observed food residue on the backside and on the floor around the ice cream machine. Hoses on the backside of the machine are leaking.

–Observed food residue on the floor in the walk-in cooler.
