Sorry all, but it seems like we’re never going to be able to stan Billie Eilish in a relationship. The singer just revealed that she has no interest in ever going public with someone she’s dating and, honestly, I don’t blame her.

“I definitely want to keep that private,” she said on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp on Tuesday. “I can’t even imagine. I think about it sometimes. I think about the people that have made their relationships public…and then they break up and it’s like, ‘What if it goes back?'”

Billie also said that she doesn’t like the idea of people having an opinion about her relationship, which, “they have no idea about.”

It seems like, when it comes to the topic, Billie has learned from experience. She admitted that she’s had relationships and, for the most part, she kept them private. “Even the ones that I’ve had and the tiny amount that I’ve let the world see, I regret,” she said.

While Billie has never talked about current relationships, she has opened up about past ones a few times. Back in 2019, Billie told 3voor12 that she “was in love, [but] not at the moment.” In an interview with British GQ she revealed that her past boyfriends never made her feel desired. “None of them,” she said.

“I’ve had my heart broken, sure,” she continued. “People have done some terrible sh*t to me. The crazy sh*t I have gone through. I have never felt powerful in a relationship. I did once and, guess what, I took advantage of that person’s kindness. I wasn’t used to it.”

Billie then said that she isn’t “attracted to people any more” and hasn’t been in months. “I don’t know what’s going on… It’s actually kind of dope.”

If and when she does become attracted to people again, though, we probably won’t find out because she will be keeping that (and any resulting relationships) to herself.
